Club Day of Service: Residence Painting 05/20/2017

Category : Events

The Exchange Club of Sacramento, in partnership with Sierra Service Project, will be doing residence painting projects in Sacramento and Rancho Cordova on May 20 2017, from 9:00am-3:30pm. Lunch and t-shirts will be provided by Sierra Service. Club member Anallely Morgan is coordinating our involvement in this project.

All volunteers will meet at 9837 Heartwood Way, Sacramento, CA 95827 at 9:00am.  Volunteers will be split into two teams, with the second team proceeding to 2365 Sabine Way, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670. Both projects involve exterior painting. Sierra Service will provide all of the tools and materials, but be sure to wear clothes and shoes appropriate for cleaning and painting!
At 12:00pm, all volunteers will meet back at 9837 Heartwood Way to eat lunch. Sierra Service will order pizzas, so if anyone is gluten-free or has any other dietary need, please notify Anallely so she can pass that along to Sierra Service. After lunch, the Sabine Way team will head back to their site to finish their project.

Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation. Carpooling is encouraged. Map of meeting location can be found in event calendar.

If you would like to join us for this Day of Service, please notify Anallely Morgan that you intent to participate. Also please print and complete a Sierra Service Project Adult Volunteer Release Form and bring it with you. If you plan to bring your age-appropriate minor child(ren) along to help, please also complete Youth Volunteer Release Form and Youth Waiver of Liability.

This should be a great service event! We hope to see you there!
