Exchange Club Of Sacramento – Day Of Service 04/15/2017
Category : Events
We are pleased to announce our first Day of Service as a permanently chartered club!
As the month of April is focused on the health, happiness and well-being of children, The Exchange Club of Sacramento has volunteered to assist Sacramento City Council District 7 with their annual community Easter egg hunts on Saturday, April 15th. These events are a significant source of joy for the kids in District 7 and we are grateful for the opportunity to take part! Club members will assist with various tasks involved in setting up the hunts, stuffing and placing eggs, and so on.
The schedule for the two egg hunts is below. Club members can participate in either or both. We are planning to have some Exchange Club pin-back buttons on hand for you to wear, and you are encouraged to also wear blue in recognition of the significance of the month of April and our National Cause. The only requirement (other than having fun) is that you complete the city’s Short-Term Volunteer Agreement and bring it with you.
Our own Rachel Beltran has volunteered to play Easter Bunny – in full costume – at the Garcia Bend Park and may do so at the second hunt as well! Each park is fairly small, so just look for the volunteer groups, they should be easy to find. This event is sure to be a lot of fun, so please mark your calendar and we’ll see you there!
Short-Term Volunteer Agreement (please print, complete and sign, and bring with you)
